Glue on the wooden strip
Here is another version of a “snare” for a Cajon. It’s simpler than the first version and sounds good enough. Remember, these articles are just to give you ideas. The methods can obviously be improved upon.
One more version will be posted in the future, I will be putting it into my next Cajon build. It will involve using a commercial snare spring which can be bought quite cheap.
Anyway, onto the second version which I will keep short; just look at the pictures below, it’s easier to understand then.
